The Day Ladder is the most competitive level of day curling. The teams are self determined and submitted to the Day Ladder coordinator to be placed in the year-long schedule. The Day Ladder teams compete for the Tom Sayer Trophy.
The scoring is 3 points for a win, 2 points for a tie and 1 for a loss. A default is 0 points. A team must have at least two regular, (listed) players to play a game. There is no time limit for the game however the game only goes to eight ends, (no extra end or draw to the button).
